The wetsuit keeps me comfortable, but always leaves me badly chaffed. A few years ago I did the swim with my daughter just behind me. She was on the high school swim team at that time and we finished together after 45 minutes.<br /><br />At each event, about half of the participants use wetsuits and the other half seem immune to the cold.
