Pondering Las Vegas

Who was Stephen Paddock and what were his motives?  Don't know.  Maybe some more info will turn up after a few days.

Theories I am tentatively considering:  He wasn't a fan of country music, so clearly he wasn't a Tump supporter since all Trump supporters are country music fans.  Given the length of time it took the SWAT Team to find his dead body, I am guessing that he wasn't a donor to the Republican party.  I am a little skeptical of the ISIS link, since he ended his life with a bullet, rather than a suicide vest. that took out the entire Mandalay Bay hotel.

Need more data.

I saw a picture of him at an anti- Trump rally, just an fyi. It's horrific that someone would ever do what he did. Let's be glad we can't understand his mind. (Evil.)

Just checked about the picture. Looks like it isn't entirely conclusive, so I will wait a bit more. My guess is that the motive will turn out to be simply anti-Trump, given the profile. But I could still be completely wrong. What is certain is that there is no "right-wing" connection, or that would be all over the news.

Hi Looney,

You ask all the right questions about Abu Abdul Bar al-Amriki (his alleged ISIS nom de guérre). In my opinion, the information about this guy is absurdly so abundant that I'm inclined to think this is beyond anti-Trump sentiment and beyond ISIS. Think of Lee Harvey Oswald...

One thing is for sure though: he was not the regular guy they want us to think. Nope.

Cheers

@Max, a simple mad-man does sound like a plausible explanation based on what I have heard so far. Just reading an article saying that Stephen's father ordained himself as a minister so he could start a church in Las Vegas! We can find out more about his father than himself, even though Stephen Paddock worked at several places for years before moving on. Some more bits are slowly coming out, like his time with the prostitutes and his conspiracy theories of choice.

Looney, all I can say is there is too much noise; and when that happens usually things are not what they seem to be. Have a blessed week.
