Something in the grass

I have been working long hours at work, but finally had a chance to get back up the mountain.  Needing to respond to a few comments still.

The following picture was taken on my iPhone.  I wish I had been carrying the SLR.

I can see the snake alright.

The snakes have a way of making me feel at home!

Leaving fish aside (after all their element is water - what do they need feet for?), I sometimes feel sorry for snakes. They had a bad press from Day One and I don't like them either; yet to have no feet is a misery I wouldn't wish upon any potential enemy - not even a snake.

The most content ones are those who don't give a thought to what others have that they don't. But then again, some of the worst are those who envy what others have that they were not blessed with. Playing it safe, I now have a new pair of Trail Running shoes that are snake bite resistant.

Hello Looney,

I see a snake. Even though they are the symbols of change and wisdom, I prefer to keep my distance from them. The only snake I like is a silver snake-shaped ring I have lol.

Working a lot is good. But I wish you a restful weekend.

Hello Max,

I will be seeing grandkids shortly, so this is going to be a bit of travel, followed by a very good week with no work!

You have a good weekend too!
