Food Poisoning

This feels like some sort of Ursula moment.  The poisoning probably happened near the end of my Singapore stay and kicked in just before and during my 14.5 hour flight home.  Writing this two days later, I have been dizzy, dealing with diarrhea, and alternating between chills and sweating.  It is good to be home.

I have of course heard about and even experienced Delhi Belly but, Singapore Belly is a new one! Best wishes that you get well soon.

Oh Looney,

I wish you well, my friend. You will beat it, you know that. Have plenty of rest and liquids.

Cheers

My dear, sweet and poorly Looney, it is so gratifying to be associated with the general fall out of a stomach taking a wrong turn.If that is my legacy it's more benign than I dared to hope for.

On a practical note: There is little that camomile tea won't cure and settle.

So happy to hear the eagle has landed, at home, once more - after a 14.5 hrs flight torture. In the meantime - please do stay out of that lake. Remember, it's November.

Oh no! I am so sorry and hope you are feeling better soon.

@Rummuser, Singapore Belly is rarer than a lightning strike, so clearly the laws of probability have been perturbed.

@Max, thanks, I am getting plenty of water, juice and gatorade.

@Ursula, it was not the specific calamity that reminded me of you, but rather the confluence of extremely improbable events like the kind that seem to follow you. The camomile tea does sound rather good and might make the whole episode worth the pain. But the lake keeps calling my name, so we will see how long I can stay out.

@Inklings, it is still going as I the fourth day rolls around, but it seems to be getting slowly better. Thanks for the wishes.
