Age Discrimination. In Silicon Valley?

Not quite sure what to make of this article.  Silicon Valley is supposed to have the number one merit based ethic in the world, but somehow falls short.  I am thankful to have a seemingly stable job at the moment.

Why are you surprised?

I wouldn't say I am surprised. It is just the incongruity of having the same discrimination as everywhere else, while living in an environment that is inundated with the world's most sanctimonious anti-discrimination hysteria. Everyone will discriminate, but then vote for the politician with the most anti-Xenophobic message. We insist on laws against discrimination so that we can break them.

Hi Looney,

Reading that article fatigued me. All that to get a job at Silicon Valley? No thanks. To learn about the Kardashians just to get a job: to what has this world come to?

*nodding*

Cheers

@Max, I prefer the good old days when all we had to do was work 80 hours a week.
