How do you say "racism" in French?

To turn "racism" into a swear word, you clearly must shout this in French, regardless of what your native language is.

The reason is that by doing this in French you prove that you are more morally sophisticated, like the French.

I don't understand French but if your translation is correct, my reaction is "Nuts'!

Salut Looney,

A Festival Agaist Racism? These people are funny because they organise these events where different people from different countries cook and share their culture and music etc, and suddenly the racist folks will stop being so since "now they have seen the object of their hatred for what they are: people". Unfortunately, the racists never attend such festivals; and the non-racists don't need to be convinced, so the festival ends up being just another social gathering for pure entertainment.

Voilá, all is vanity under the sun...so the King said.
Have a super incoming week, Looney.

Cheers

@Max,

The current European tour doesn't have me in sufficient proximity to get into the heads of these people, but my real reaction is that the policy dispute that motivated this festival had exactly nothing to do with race. The European leftist are much like the US on this issue, so they immediately "go nuclear" on any policy issue and try to paint it as an issue of race, since race Trumps (!) everything at the moment. In the end, this will degrade and trivialize the concept of racism and true racists will get a free pass.

Looney,

Oh, you are in Europe? I hope you enjoy it.

"In the end, this will degrade and trivialize the concept of racism and true racists will get a free pass."

I agree.

The picture was taken a few days ago in Pasau, Germany. We are in Prague at the moment and will be heading home tomorrow. It has been a very good visit with excellent guides to fill us in on history and other subjects.

@Rummuser, my apologies for putting more fuel on to the fire that was burning in the thread on your blog regarding the N-word.

Looney, perhaps one day you will visit Portugal (I think you will like it). Safe trip back home then. Cheers

It would appear that the fire in my blog has run its course and has died away. Your intervention was quite interesting actually. No need to apologise at all.
