Snow Pictures

These are from my parents home in Pennsylvania where the snowpocalypse has been making its way through.  My mother now has a newer Canon than me, which is fueling a rivalry of sorts.  Meanwhile, I have a severe stomach flu and am shut in, although not by the weather.  Today is the first day in a few days that I could sit at the computer and focus for more than 2 or 3 minutes.

That is so Bambi, Looney. Only more beautiful. Am pale with envy: I love snow. Being so close to the Golf Stream at the South coast of England snow is like gold dust.

As to Canon and your mother: The Angel - who is an avid photographer with equipment to match - I swear he has absentmindedly, with purpose, displaced the battery recharger to my Canon. Can't bloody find it. Not that we compete. I don't have a shade on him and his eye.

Let your mother put aside her Canon and make you camomile tea instead.

Gute Besserung,
U

Hi Looney,

Beautiful!! Loved the deer, so cute.
I am not much of a fan of snow, however these pictures are superb and do make us wish we were there with a cup of hot cocoa.

I wish you a speedy convalescence.

Cheers

This pictures are beautiful, but I'm glad I don't live there. :)

Hope you get feeling better soon. What a bummer!

And that is the paradox, your last post and this portray two different situations in the same country!

@Ursula, I would love to spend a morning with my mother sipping tea, chatting and looking at the snow. She was the only one in her family born in the US instead of the UK, so she has the tea habit down.

@Max, thanks for your well wishes. Probably another day or two and I will be back to work.

@Delirious, it doesn't snow where you are at? How is the air?

@Rummuser, these places are about 2,800 miles apart. But I tend to view God as the author of "diversity".

Thank you for sharing those beautiful pictures. I am sorry about the flu and hope you are feeling better, or soon will be.

Well-done photos, but made me think of this I just came across...

I'm slow in answering this.... No, it doesn't snow much here in Wuhan. It snowed twice this year, but it was all on the bushes and trees, not on the ground. It melted very quickly.
