Yes, I learned this today as I am preparing to risk my life and the life of many others by driving in a foreign country. Just a few more days. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures.

Didn't you drive in China? It is much better than when I first went to Taiwan in 1984. Back then, a red light was just a suggestion!
Yes, I did drive in China and lived to tell the tales. lol Basically, there is no order or rule in traffic there until a policeman decides to make one. ;) I do think I had to retrain my brain how to drive correctly when I cam home.
I was in Taiwan 1982-1984, but I rode a bicycle then, and also lived to tell the tale. lol I think I was at most danger because of buses...they just couldn't see the bikes.
